OVERVIEW.
I’ve been in the advertising/marketing industry for over 15 years. In the earlier stages of my career, I worked in the capacity of Senior Copywriter and Associate Creative Director for a range of top agencies including J. Walter Thompson and Ogilvy & Mather. As time moved forward, I was hired by DDB Needham’s Los Angeles office to be the Group Creative Director of their Integrated Division. I set up and managed the creative side of this division and as a “working Creative Director” I was also the lead copywriter. All promotions, direct response, retail and/or collateral development went through my group. Based on the results and client satisfaction generated by the creative work we produced, our division’s billings grew from $300,000 to $20,000,000 in just two years. Eventually I left DDB to found Rainmaker & Sun Integrated Marketing, where I have been managing the planning and development of Integrated Marketing Campaigns.

ABOUT MY CREATIVE SAMPLES.
For a creative person, selecting portfolio samples is a bit like picking your favorite child. It’s near impossible, as each is uniquely special. Compounding the issue, is that when it comes to marketing pieces, one person’s award winner is another one’s fireplace starter. So I decided to show a wide range of work in hopes that everyone will find pieces they appreciate. Of course, award winner or not, each of these pieces did what they were designed to do…build brand awareness and generate response. Also note that what I am showing here is just a fraction of what I have created and most pieces are part of larger campaigns. Finally, what I have not included are all TV & radio commercials, outdoor, sales kits, power point presentations, promotions, in-store or trade show materials I have worked on.
