OVERVIEW.
I’ve been in the advertising/marketing industry for over 20 years. I’ve worked in both small and large agencies as a Copywriter. My typical title was Senior Copywriter or Associate Creative Director. In 1993, I was hired by DDB Needham’s Los Angeles office to set up and run the creative side of their Integrated Division. I was a working Creative Director, which means in addition to supervising a creative staff, I was also the lead copywriter. All creative work that was promotions, direct response, retail and/or collateral went through my group. Clients were so pleased with the creative work we produced that our division’s annual billings grew from $300,000 to $20,000,000 in just two years. From there, I went on to found Rainmaker & Sun Integrated Marketing, where I have been the Creative Director and lead Copywriter for the last 12 years. It has been a great experience helping an outstanding roster of clients achieve their goals through result-driven integrated marketing campaigns.
As a new evolution to the business model, I can be hired as an independent Creative Director or Copywriter. Project size is also a non-issue. Whether you need help with a large multi-media integrated campaign, website or a single brochure, I am happy to help. After all, the reward is the same as long as “added value” is created that helps your company achieve its marketing and sales goals.

I have extensive experience creating consumer and B2B marketing materials in all traditional and online media formats. I have also worked in most industry sectors for clients ranging in size from Fortune 100 to small start-ups. Each of these clients depended on me for great creative work as well as smart strategy. ABOUT MY CREATIVE SAMPLES
For a creative person, selecting portfolio samples is a bit like picking your favorite child. It’s near impossible, as each is uniquely special. Compounding the issue, is that when it comes to marketing pieces, one person’s award winner is another one’s fireplace starter. So I decided to show a wide range of work in hopes that everyone will find pieces they appreciate. Of course, award winner or not, each of these pieces did what they were designed to do...build brand awareness and generate sales. Also note that what I am showing here is just a fraction of what I have created and most pieces are part of larger campaigns. Finally, what I have not included are all the sales kits, power point presentations, promotions, in-store, outdoor or trade show materials I have worked on.
